Abstract. The article deals with the existing approaches to the renewal of construction and repair of construction machines and mechanisms used for the overhaul of the linear part of the main pipeline. Stages of formation of the optimal composition of fleet. It was noted that the existing methods for determining the composition of the necessary machines and mechanisms based on the factors of the economic feasibility of renovation, while the issues of environmental studies are still poorly understood. The relevance of this article due to the need of ecological studies of organizational and technological solutions for the formation of the desired composition of the fleet for the overhaul of oil and gas pipelines. Goals and objectives — ensuring reliable operation of the linear object construction and repair streams with minimal impact on the environment. Method — analysis of existing approaches to the desired composition fleet during overhaul of the linear part of the pipeline routes. The authors have presented an abstract (deliberately not specified diameter, the conditions of passage, length, etc.). Cyclogram functioning linear object repair and construction flow during overhaul a certain portion of the main pipeline, which are the most dangerous from an environmental viewpoint intervals of work, due to the use of machines and mechanisms physical wear. It is noted that there is currently no method of updating the fleet, allowing to solve organizational and technological problems overhaul of the linear part of the main pipeline taking into account environmental parameters.
