Abstract. Of great importance in road construction in areas that do not have their natural resources of stone materials, is paid to the use of local materials. Such materials include soil. During the construction of the bases of roads (sites) in the soil to enhance organic, inorganic and complex binders. When strengthening soils, special attention should be given not only to the quality of the materials used, but the quality and execution of road construction works. Built the base using the binder of the first type (cement) necessary to maintain to set the design strength in favorable heat-and-humidity mode. Studies have shown that the cause of the destruction of the foundations of reinforced soil and sand-gravel mixture was a violation of technological process in their construction – insufficient mixing mill road.

Also the contractor was not held sufficient care for the layers reinforced soil and sand-gravel mixture. Not been made a cover layer of film-forming material – bitumen emulsion, bleached with lime. The customer manifest neglect of built layers of reinforced soil and sand-gravel mixture. The customer to set the strength of the base roads were open to traffic of heavy transport.
