Abstract. The article presents a part of the dissertation research by Tyuryukhanova K.Yu., the results of mathematical modeling of the effective composition of asphalt-concrete mixture of type B of brand I. At present, a network of highways is developing very quickly, where asphalt is the main material of the upper layers of the pavement construction. Every year, there is a tightening of requirements for asphalt concrete mixtures, and in particular for the stone materials used. That in turn leads to a rise in price of certain inert materials, and as a result of all construction in general. One of the ways to reduce costs in the repair, reconstruction, new construction is the use of industrial waste, which in its strength characteristics are not inferior to traditional building materials. The article deals with mathematical modeling of hot dense fine-grained asphalt-concrete mixture, which includes the departure of steelmaking production, in particular spent molding mixture. At the heart of mathematical models, physico-mechanical indicators are obtained as a result of testing of asphalt concrete samples made in laboratory conditions. As changing factors, two indicators were selected, the bitumen content and the amount of fine aggregate, namely the waste of steelmaking production of the spent molding mixture, in the composition of asphalt concrete. Mathematical modeling makes it possible to more accurately design the grain composition, to identify certain dependencies on changing factors, and also to predict the strength characteristics of asphalt concrete, which consists of mineral materials of different origin and astringent, which will in turn meet all the requirements of state standards of the Russian Federation.
