Transportation construction in the development of an integrated transport system of Russia

Abstract. The article presents the assessment of the feasibility and actual effect of transport construction on the stages of all transport modes in a single transport system (ETS) of the individual regions and the country as a whole on the basis of an analysis of the historical period the existence of the USSR.

Peacetime periods are considered the beginning of the 20th century between World War I and the great patriotic war, during the period of industrialization during the hostilities, with the emergence of new modes of transportation between central driving the construction with the Organization of the Federal Ministry of transport construction-Ministry of the USSR.

Shows the need to preserve experience Ministry on the development of ETS in the new economic conditions, the importance of strengthening the training of transport construction and development of scientific studies on the issues identified functional security and all three manifestations of the reliability of transport systems-information, structural and functional, with further development and existing transport modes and emerging new, including hybrid- river-sea-land-air and ground-to-space-to-Earth.

The role of transport construction in the formation and development of an integrated transport system of the USSR and the integration prospects of Russian railway transport network in the southeast of the country after the collapse of the Soviet Union into the world transport system.
