Environmental safety of construction and technological systems in the educational process

Abstract. The article examines the role of the discipline «Environmental safety of construction and technological systems» in the educational process of students studying in the direction «Construction». The goals, tasks and necessary skills for mastering this discipline were studied. The author presents the main questions studied during the lecture classroom, and also provides an in-depth understanding of the approximate topics of the course work provided by the curriculum. The article presents the main criteria for choosing an object of study for studying environmental safety in the field of construction and technological processes. Examples are given of drawings, which should be provided coursework on the discipline «Environmental safety of construction and technological systems». In the article examples of computer programs with which help the quantitative estimation of polluting substances in the process of the automated modeling are carried out are given. Conclusions are drawn on the need to obtain theoretical and practical knowledge and skills within the framework of environmental safety, the issues of automated monitoring and modeling of processes of pollution of environmental components, the possibility of developing the necessary environmental documentation for the design of facilities and facilities for various purposes, as well as the ability to make management decisions to reduce ecological load in order to improve the health of the population of the study areas.
