Abstract. In connection with the continuous growth of the vehicle fleet the Traffic Management Facilities require a constant development and modernization. The paper proposes an innovative approach to solving this problem by means of creating a speed bump along the edges of the auto-road surface, which generates vibrations when moving car and therefore it is called a vibro-rumble strip. The authors show a design circuit of the vehicle for driving along this strip and the corresponding mathematical model. Using this model, they presented the plots of the movement of carriage frame dependence on the depth of bumps and the plot of the driver’s seat vertical acceleration dependence on the car speed at the various depths of the vibration strip bump. There were calculated the recommended parameters of speed bumps, which allow to provide the necessary vibration influence on the driver at different speeds of vehicles of different classes.
