Ways of selections of compositions of fine-grained asphalt concrete mixes, the steadiest against tracing rutting processes

Abstract. The pilot researches of fine-grained asphalt concrete mixes used in Russia and abroad and which are picked up in the different ways for definition of compliance to normative and technical documents are given in article. Comparison test of the picked-up structures are carried out. Researches on definition of resistance to rutting of fine-grained asphalt concrete mixes are conducted. Conditions of carrying out experiment are described. The basic reasons, external and internal factors influencing rutting process are described. Influence of the polymeric disperse reinforced additive is studied. Proceeding from results of comparison test optimum contents organic knitting in each structure is picked up. Use of the polymeric disperse reinforcing additive as a part of the picked-up fine-grained asphalt concrete mixes allows to receive the asphalt concrete differing in the increased thermal stability and the water resistance increased by strength indicators, sdvigoustoychivost, resistance to plastic deformations. Water saturation polymer – the disperse reinforced asphalt concrete is lower, than asphalt concrete without additive. Introduction of the polymeric disperse reinforcing additive promotes increase in resistance to rutting. At the same time water saturation polymer – the disperse reinforced asphalt concrete is lower, than asphalt concrete without additive. On test results it is possible to draw conclusion that only in asphalt concrete mixes with content of the polymeric disperse reinforcing additive it was succeeded to reach compliance to the main requirements of normative documents. By results of the available tests of the provided fine-grained asphalt concrete it is possible to choose suitable structure steady against process of rutting and meeting the modern normative requirements.
