In contrast to the traditional model with one degree of freedom, which takes into account only the deflection of the beam, a model is adopted that takes into account also the rotation of the beam axis due to the action of the inertial moment. Thus, a beam with a load is considered as an elastic system with two degrees of freedom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A general view of the solution of the differential equations of the oscillation of the system is obtained for arbitrary fastening of the beam and for the arbitrary arrangement of an installation with an eccentric on it. For the particular case of a hinged beam with the location of the installation in the middle of the span, the eigenfrequencies, amplitude values of deflection and angle of rotation, bending moments in the most stressed sections are obtained. The dependence of the maximum moments on the rotational speed of the eccentric axis, as well as on the geometric and inertial properties of the system \u2013 the radius of inertia of the installation with the eccentric, the position of the axis of rotation above the axis of the beam is investigated. The amplitude-frequency characteristics are constructed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The analysis of the obtained results and their comparison with the results of calculation using the classical model with one degree of freedom are carried out. On this basis, in each specific case, it is possible to judge the relevance of accounting for the second degree of freedom or the absence of such a need.
