The importance of developing new floating bridge concepts, including those using polymer composite materials for difficult hydrogeological and climatic conditions, permafrost zones, Arctic regions of the Russian Federation and the Far North regions, was emphasized. The authors of the article note that the design should take into account the characteristics of water surfaces, the parameters of frozen soils and solve problems associated with increased transport loads, the need for rapid assembly and dismantling of structures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The article begins with a historical overview of the creation and evolution of temporary bridge structures, as well as the prerequisites for their improvement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the main part of the article, the authors consider the domestic and foreign experience of using temporary bridge structures, including in difficult climatic and hydrogeological conditions.
