For their wider use, further improvement of design methods is required. Computer modeling is currently widely used to study the deformation and destruction of structures made of composite materials.

The work considers a circular cylindrical shell of constant thickness. The shell material is elastic and orthotropic, with symmetry relative to the middle surface of the shell. The initial equation is the equation of the classical theory for anisotropic circular cylindrical shells, which is based on the well-known hypothesis of non-deformable normals.

The problem is posed of constructing fundamental solutions for a cylindrical shell made of an orthotropic material with rigid fastening at the ends, on the side surface of which a stationary load is applied. The solutions are constructed using operational calculus associated with the Laplace transform.

Examples of calculations are given. An orthotropic closed cylindrical shell made of carbon fiber plastic under the action of an external axisymmetric load is used as a test problem. Numerical calculations were performed using the computer algebra package MathCAD. The results are presented in tabular and graph form.

The solutions obtained can be used for theoretical analysis and calculation of the stress-strain state, as well as for modeling thin-walled cylindrical shells made of orthotropic material used in various fields of industry. The calculation results can be used as reference examples for comparison with calculations obtained using approximate methods, and as test ones when calculating using software packages.

Keywords: orthotropic material; cylindrical shell; stress-strain state; analytical solution; stationary load; operational calculus; carbon fiber reinforced plastic

Surnin Dmitry Arkadievich Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, Saratov, Russia E-mail: dasurni@yandex.ru RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=1262347 Shagivaleev Kamil Fatykhovich Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, Saratov, Russia E-mail: kfshag@yandex.ru RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=581294 Ovchinnikov Ilya Igorevich Industrial University of Tyumen, Tyumen, …

[60,5

post-2858","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-issue-1-2026","category-article
["GET
