Kozak, e-mail: kozak.spbgasu@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> Steel-concrete composite superstructures are currently one of the most common types of structures in bridge construction. Despite their widespread use, their design methodology has not yet been fully developed. A key unresolved issue is the analysis of the behavior of the shear connection between the slab and the girders, both under static loading and considering long-term effects. The standard engineering approach, codified in design standards, assumes a perfectly rigid shear connection between the slab and the beam, which is seldom achieved in practice. This paper presents a review of studies investigating the effect of accumulated fatigue damage on the shear stiffness of connectors. The review involved an analysis of publications available in open databases. Initially, 73 publications were selected based on the relevance of their scope and subject matter. A subsequent in-depth analysis identified 15 papers containing results directly relevant to the research topic. These results were systematized according to the types of structures studied (flexible stud connectors, bar connectors, channel connectors) and the type of presented data (stiffness vs. accumulated damage, stiffness vs. number of loading cycles, and slip vs. number of loading cycles). The compiled review can be applied in the development of refined models for the behavior of composite structures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> bridge; steel-concrete; shear connector; stud shear connector; stiffness; fatigue; service life; damage<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1Nikolai V.
