Tsybin, e-mail: dmitryts32@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> Progress in transportation infrastructure construction is inextricably linked to advancements in design methods for transport facilities, among which culvert pipes hold a special position as the most common artificial structures on highways. The need for new design methodologies arises from the requirement to enhance the reliability of highways as a whole and artificial structures in particular. This study examines the impact of deviations in initial design parameters of polymer culvert pipes (diameters: 1,0\u00a0m, 1,6\u00a0m, and 2,0\u00a0m; ring stiffness: SN\u00a05000, SN\u00a010000, and SN\u00a015000) on the probability of failure-free operation, based on strength, stability, and critical relative deformation conditions. The work employs simulation modeling, which enables numerical experiments when real-world testing is infeasible due to high costs and prolonged construction timelines. The primary parameter influencing the probability of failure under the considered conditions is the backfill height above the pipe. The developed models utilize random input parameters following a normal distribution law within specified deviation limits. Sample uniformity verification is performed using the coefficient of variation. For the developed models, tables illustrating the dependence of structural failure probability on backfill height are derived, with corresponding graphs constructed. These models can be applied to analyze not only backfill height but also other parameters, such as the deformation modulus of backfill soil, thereby justifying design solutions for polymer culvert pipes with the required reliability level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> simulation modeling; polymer culvert pipes; reliability; durability; strength; stability; deformations<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dmitry Yu.
