To illustrate, one may consider the existing systems of continuous monitoring for a number of bridge constructions in the United States, Japan, Europe, South Korea, Greece and Russia. The article suggests to examine the systems of continuous monitoring of &#171;Commodore John Barry&#187; truss bridge, &#171;Akashi-Kaikyo&#187; suspension bridge, &#171;Siggenthal&#187; reinforced-concrete arch bridge, &#171;Nimhe&#187; suspension bridge, &#171;Jindo&#187;cable-stayed bridge, &#171;Yandzhon&#187; suspension bridge, &#171;Banghwa&#187; bridge, &#171;Seohae&#187; bridge and &#171;Rio-Antirrio&#187; bridge.
